Quincy Medical Center’s department of surgery is committed to providing the highest quality surgical services on the South Shore. Many of the surgeons at QMC are members of Boston Medical Center Surgical Associates (BMCSA). In many cases, the same surgeon who would perform your surgery in Boston will perform your surgery at Quincy Medical Center.
Surgeons are supported by a department of board certified anesthesiologists at Boston Medical Center under the guidance of Anesthesia Associates of Massachusetts. In addition to the management of anesthesia for surgical intensive care, the department has several areas of special expertise, including acute and chronic pain management and pediatric and neurological anesthesia.
